Lollie came into town last weekend, and we started with the festivities on Friday evening. She and Ellie made their annual Christmas cookies together!
Ellie did a lot of the decorating herself, and I think they turned out quite beautifully!
And of course we had cookies for breakfast on Saturday morning!
Then we all headed to the Auburn Christmas parade...
This was definitely the highlight of the parade for Greer...the tractor!
And the highlight for Ellie...Aubie!
And she does love the Chick Fil A cow too!
Saturday evening Ellie got all dolled up for her dance recital, and let me add that she did a phenomenal job! We were so proud of her up on that big stage with those big lights and all of those people watching. Unfortunately I have absolutely zero pictures because we did not have time before, and after, well let's just say she had a little meltdown and was not up for pictures. She was behind stage for 2.5 hours without us, and I found out they did not feed them a bit even though it was dinner time, and she had also been without a nap that day. So needless to say no pics but this one after we got home...without her flowers that we left in She She's car!
After some much-needed rest we woke up Sunday morning and went to have brunch with Santa.
And Mrs. Claus...
She She and Josh joined us too...
I think this little guy was avoiding Santa....
But not her!
Greer wasn't so sure about actually sitting on Santa's lap, but we at least got him in the picture up on a stool behind him! I was just so proud he did not cry!
It was a busy weekend, and it wore this 36-week pregnant Mama out!
Then, this past Thursday Ellie had her little Christmas program at school. Her class sang "Away in a Manger" and did a great job.
And then all of the Moms and Dads headed back to her room for another song and some snacks...
We are definitely staying busy around here this Christmas season and counting down the days until Baby Brother arrives!
