Before we get to the birthday fun, we have exciting news!! I went to the doctor this morning and found out that Ellie will be a BIG SISTER by this time tomorrow (hopefully)! We are checking in bright and early tomorrow morning to be induced. Will post pictures as soon as we can. Please pray for our family and this new miracle that we are bringing into the world. We are very excited, nervous, anxious, etc etc around here and cannot wait to meet him!!
Our baby is officially 2 years old! We made it through April 17th without having her brother making his appearance into this world so Ellie and I still get to spend our special day together...just the 2 of us! Before school on Friday...not really in the mood for pictures...
because I made the mistake of telling her we were on our way to pick these up to take to her class! So it's all she could think about!
My mom and sister came up for a couple of days, and we all went out for dinner on Friday night and had a great time.
Birthday girls...
Saturday (the actual real birthday day) we woke up bright and early (5:15 a.m.) and were out playing in the sandbox by 7:30 I believe! She always gets up early when we have fun visitors in town because she's so anxious to see them!
Playing outside...
Mallory even dropped by for some play time.
Being silly!
Time for Yo Gabba Gabba ice cream cake! I will say I was completely fine with sharing this delish cake from Brusters!!
A few fun birthday treats for E!
Blowing her candles out...she was SO excited about the Yo Gabbas!
She just dug right in!
And loved every last bite!
Her Yo Gabba t'shirt that Daddy and I gave her!
Yo Gabba sticker fun!

The Yo Gabbas were great, but when she opened this from Lollie it was all over!
Her drum!!
She got so serious while playing...it was hysterical!
What is this move???
Look at the seriousness on her face!
Overall we had a great day/weekend. Ellie was a little under the weather on Saturday afternoon but is much better now thank goodness. Poor Rusty had a huge surprise for all of our friends to come over Saturday evening to celebrate MY 30th, but those plans had to be cancelled due to a sick little girl. We're all well now and keeping our fingers crossed that we stay that way so we're fine for Baby Brother's arrival TOMORROW!!!!
