We had an awesome 4th. Lollie came through Bham last Weds and picked Ellie, Greer, and I up, and we headed down to Atmore for the night. Then we woke up Thursday morning and headed to Orange Beach with Poppy, Thomas, and Momese. On Friday afternoon She She, Josh, and Daddy joined us. We stayed at Momese's beach house and had a wonderful time despite the oil! We were actually able to swim in the water and do a little boating!!
This is only the 2nd picture we've gotten of all 4 of us! It's so hard to find a time when we're all looking decent and when Greer is actually awake!
Greer had a great time and got to spend a lot of time with his Momese! He even slept through the night 3 out of the 5 nights we were down there! Woo hoo! We're keeping our fingers crossed that this is a new trend!
Momese's dog, Sally, loves giving Greer LOTS of kisses.

We were able to manage to get everyone dressed and out the door on Saturday night to our new favorite restaurant, Cobalt. 
Ellie thought it was funny to stand up in her highchair and block Josh out of the picture!

I love that this place is so kid-friendly. My grandmother said she felt like if you didn't have a kid w/ you, you just weren't "in!"
After dinner the band started and guess who ran straight for the dancefloor! Lollie was a good sport. Lollie is Ellie's new favorite person! Probably because Ellie has figured out that she lets her get away with EVERYthing!!

We even made a trip over to G.G. Mama's to swim in her pool.
It's just not the 4th of July without watermelon!
Greer even got a little taste and loved it!
And I just couldn't resist adding this picture...Ellie helped Josh bathe his dog Bell...naked of course! She spends a LOT of time running around our yard and anywhere else she can naked! Any time she gets a little drop of water on her she can't stand it and strips down. I have heard from others and read that this is completely normal for her age and just have to laugh about it. 
So sad that our fun weekend is over...back to reality!

okay so you know i ALWAYS say I see so much Moore in Elle.. but in that pic "Getting Low"... she is her father! I LOVE IT! Glad yall had fun.. see you soon!
Looks like y'all had a good time! We are supposed to head down that way in August, so I hope the oil is still manageable by then! We will definitely be trying out Cobalt's!
