Since Daddy was away for the weekend on a guy's trip, we decided to head down south for the weekend. She She rode with us (oh how we love having her in the same town), and we spent Friday night at Lollie & Poppy's and Saturday night at Poppy's cabin. When we pulled up on Friday afternoon, there was a VERY special surprise waiting on Ellie and Greer...
A John Deere Gator!!! Poppy insisted they have one for the cabin, and Ellie was ecstatic!
I was a little surprised that it took her a few tries before she would actually push the gas pedal and make it go. Once she did, she was nonstop and wanted Greer to ride with her every time. What a fun surprise for me too! It felt like an early Christmas for all of us!
We did a lot of relaxing which was much needed. We also roasted a few gigantic, pumpkin marshmellows...
And celebrated She She's 26th birthday!!!
Took sink baths...
Played with our trucks in the gravel. What 17 month old wouldn't love all of these rocks???
Played on the new rope swing...
And before we knew it, the weekend was over and back to reality for us all. Poppy has made a few improvements to his cabin over the last several months, and in just a few weeks there will actually be real power and not a generator!!!! Yahoooo!!! We are so excited and will be spending our Thanksgiving there this year.
In other news...this sweet baby boy in my tummy officially has a name...
Sims Booker Prewett
We will call him "Sims." I can't believe how close we are getting to his arrival. Ellie refers to him as "my baby" and cannot wait to meet him!
