Our Weekend

Lollie (my mom) came up for a visit on Friday so Ellie, Mom, Anna Kate, Katherine and I all went to Christmas Village. We had a great time seeing AK and K, but unfortunately we forgot to snap a pic of the girls' first shopping trip together! I did get a cute shot of Ellie and her giraffe that Lollie got her for Christmas. Hopefully she won't remember it when she sees it on Christmas morning! ha! I think it's a hit with her though.We also had a visitor over the weekend. Uncle Sam came to see us since Mandy and Baby Jackson are down visiting her mom in Montgomery. Ellie loved Sam and had a huge grin on her face every time he walked into the room! We didn't get to visit all that much since I kept being reminded that it was a "guys weekend," but it was definitely great to see him. We can't wait to have the whole Brien clan here in December! (Ellie was more interested in the tv in the pic below rather than posing for the camera!)We also hit a milestone over the weekend......pulling up in our crib! Well, she has actually been doing this for a couple of weeks, but when I walked in after her nap today, I found her in action! Rusty and I decided the time has come to move her crib mattress down to the lower setting. Our baby girl is growing too fast! It feels like yesterday that we were putting the crib together!

She occasionally likes to use her bumper as a pillow. So stinkin' cute!
